Velvet Shirt Redo Worthy of Prince

First of all, the post re-do shot:

So, I bought this purple velvet button up from eBay a size too big. I figured I could alter it for a better fit. So here is how that went…

The Before Pics:

I used elastic to gather the waist across the back and then I shortened the sleeves and gave them elastic cuffs.

It still didn’t seem finished so I got out some trim and…
