Vintage badge earrings

The local antique store charges almost nothing for their vintage badges. I realized I could make earrings with almost no effort, so I scrounged around for matched pairs.

Our local 4-H fair starts next week, so I had to buy the clovers. The other pair just seemed fun. Google says Wurlitzer made pianos, organs, amd jukeboxes.

I broke off the bottom part of the pin, slid a jump ring on, and curled the end of the pin so the jump ring can’t slide back off.
I put 1 jump ring on the 4-H earrings. That made the badge hang funny, so I glued the jump ring to the badge.

I learned my lesson and added two jump rings to this pair.

The store has quite a few 80’s amd 90’s era 4" badges with our school’s name. I like big earrings, but those are too big even for me. They would be so fun to wear!

So fun! Great repurpose.

Nice job!

I was in 4-H as a child. Raised a calf.

My FIL had a Wurlitzer piano! My BIL took it when he passed and plays it still. I think it is probably from the 1940’s or 50’s? You captured a bit of nostalgia for me!
