I found a piece of vintage cotton jersey at the thrift store that reminded me so much, very specifically, of sueded silk bomber jackets from the early 90’s, so I leaned into it and added wide ribbed jersey bands, and used a sort of self-drafted pattern I made YEARS ago, for a simple dolman sleeved tee with a long body that scrunches up over the waist in a pretty flattering way. It made my coworker say “YOU MADE THAT? I don’t understand how someone just MAKES clothing.”

This is really cute. I am sort of crafting my own version just looking at it too.

I’m so impressed by those who can sew clothes for themselves, but even more so by those who can draft their own patterns. Welll done!

It fits perfectly. You drafted one heck of a pattern. The fabric really is 90’s bomber in the best possible way!
