Got this vintage hamper which looked pink in the For Sale postings which is what I wanted.
It was picked up by a friend and came home looking quite tan and dull. Knew I had to paint it!
Had very few colors to choose from, my stash was dwindling. Plus, what I had did not even stretch to what I wanted to do so I had to plan this whole thing using areas of color in just a certain way
. As it turned out, I just baaaaarely made it with the last brush stroke before I ran out of ALL colors. Whew!

Beautiful design! I do a similar thing while embroidering that I think of as playing “thread chicken” - just going for it and crossing my fingers that I have enough left!
