That sounds like a fun way to spend some time together! Your comment reminded me that I’d gotten my mom a few of the kits for Christmas a couple years ago. I called her last night to see if she’s done them yet. She started but had never finished. After we talked she was pumped up to work on them again (funnily enough, she’d just been thinking about the kits a few days before, so it sounded like our chat was just the little extra push she needed).
Your idea inspired me and once I get some supplies, my mom and I are going to do one together! Thank you for sharing that side note!

These are great. I really like your shading and the green thread. The flourishes are my favorite though. What fun project!
