The Galentine’s swap is always a challenge for me. It’s so hard finding a craft that will fit the swap, fit in an envelope, and mail flat enough to go regular post without issue. I toyed with so many ideas this year and even bought supplies for a different one, before a random Pinterest pin made me pivot and create tiny watercolor floral bouquets.
Each bouquet is under 5" and has three watercolor florals/plants with some tissue paper wrapping and a bit of twine to tie them all together.
I wanted loose, fun florals so I just let myself play and 2/3 were created using a tiny set of Neocolor II crayons I got for Christmas. I really love doodling with the Neocolors and then blending out and extending the results with a wet paintbrush.
Here are all the finished flowers after I sprayed them with sealer. It was fun mixing and matching to make each bouquet.
I added this post to the decor section because the bouquets can be displayed as is, used in journals or for emphemera, OR put in a tiny vase (my personal fave) to make a cute decor item.
I liked these so much I may make a few for myself and display them in little vases around the house.
