Thank you. Yeah, I was looking for a place that let the making be the main thing, wasn’t trying to be a dopamine slot machine, and lets connection happen. I’m increasingly not a fan of the endless scroll.
It was really lovely to realise I knew the answer all along. I feel like C-ster taught me to be a kind citizen of the Internet, and being here feels like discovering an old friend.

I just found you! Around 19 years ago I joined Crafters. I had so much fun with the swaps. My son was a toddler then and it was so wonderful to connect with adults online, creating little treasures to send to friends all over the world.
My son recently moved out and while coping with empty nest syndrome, I remembered how therapeutic crafting was. I went looking for Crafters and was so sad to find out it was no longer around. While looking I found a Reddit post mentioning Lettuce Crafts! I am so glad, its seems like it’s the same thing, but in a new format. I made my same username from long ago. So very sweet. Thank you to all those who kept this going!!!

I just found Lettuce Craft this winter when I went looking for the old site too. My kids were little when I was on there and now they’ve moved out and I remembered all the good things about that community. I am so glad you returned too!!
