What would you do?

I bought this book at an op shop for a couple of dollars because I really wanted to use the images in collages and home made greeting cards, but I canโ€™t bring myself to actually carefully cut it up.

Are the patterns still usable if the coloured pictures are gone? Iโ€™d love to pass it on to someone who would like it (sans photos :see_no_evil:)

Iโ€™d cut it up. I might try to use all the pages though. The plain ones would be good for collage, gelli printing, etc. Some of the drawings look very cute, could make interesting card fronts.

One way to make the print on the reverse disappear is to back with black paper.

Just cut it up! :scissors::grin: Itโ€™s just not irreplaceable, and Iโ€™m sure there is some treasury of vintage needlepoint patterns out there somewhere.

The drawings can still be used for embroidery patterns. A little tracing paper and a pattern pen. They are so pretty!
