hi, i’m hoping someone can help me out. I’m looking for wool yarn to crochet hats, but i need it to be flourescent / blaze / safety / hunter orange and a bright fluorescent pink.
to go for walks around here we need to wear blaze (flouescent) orange or pink on over 50% of our upper body during hunting season. i have a vest, but would like a handmade wool hat, but i am coming up short. i found lots in acrylic, but would really prefer wool or mostly wool. i would really like to make hats with both the pink & the orange
any leads would be greatly appreciated! thanks

I don’t know if Rico is widely available in the US, it’s a pretty big brand here in Europe so I think you’ll be able to find it in many different webshops from the UK and EU.
thank you, i will have to look into them because it is exactly what i’m looking for, but shipping to the us isn’t cheap, nor terribly timely. i will see if another seller may have them in the US
Here are few I found on the Eat Sleep Knit website. Some are hand dyed, but there are some bright / neon colorways. I don’t know how well the brightness holds after several washings.
I don’t know if you’ve tried Hobbii, but I love them there. Here’s a link to some bright colors, I can’t tell if there’s a good orange but it looks like pink is there and it might be worth poking around the site to see if amy other yarns might work:
