My daughter and her friends are very much into Epic: The Musical, and she got her heart-sister and friends into it too.
2 weeks ago, there was an active screening event for it. My daughter has her Athena cosplay from previous screenings, but her sister and one of her friends were joining us, and didn’t have anything yet. Since they are small, we thought it might be really fun for them to cosplay Winions. These are little creatures created in some of the animations for Epic. But, not a lot of people cosplay them.
As the resident props and costumes department, I found the perfect fabric for it and tricked it into thinking I knew what I was doing. It worked, and we have 2 adorable costumes that even managed not to fall apart until after they went on stage. We’ve got two sets of a dress, ears on a headband and wrist cuffs/fingerless gloves, plus a glowing lotus flower.
