Wish donuts

I was inspired by my favorite show Bee and Puppycat to make these donut amigurumis. There’s a character who makes donuts with all his wishes and dreams and sends them through a wish portal to people who need them. These were crocheted with big twist yarn and a pattern for play donuts, and polymer clay for the gems, which I painted with purple alcohol inks and blue inka gold. I really kind of messed up the placement of the gems on the blue one. The pink one was me playing around with a different color. Last pic is for reference. I was thinking about maybe adding some purple paint to make the gems a little more detailed. And possibly hiding these outside for people to find, hopefully brightening up their days.

They’re so bright and vibrant! I like the look of the gems. You did a great job of getting a gem-like effect with the alcohol ink.

How sweet! My daughter and I watched this show, it’s fun, although it’s a bit confusing at times.
