Wooden dog potty

My cute little fluffball has to have an indoor pee spot so I decided to upgrade from the cheap black plastic tray he’s had. Instead, this one has a plywood baee and oak rail to hold the potty pad.

However, he hates change, so is still working up to using it.

Its looks much more sophisticated than black plastic.
I need you to include a better pic of this fur baby. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Very neatly constructed. I love the dog bone theme.

Here’s cutie from today, in desperate need of a haircut:

Usually he’s not quite this mop-like. His name is Snickerdoodle. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I wish my dog would use something like this! It’s tidy and looks classy even though it’s a potty space. But sadly, our “Princess” apparently requires variety in which areas of our home she selects to grace with her “gifts”. sigh

It’s an ongoing negotiation with him. We had a black tray thing with fake grass on top that was much more enclosed in that fence. He was fine with that, but I hated cleaning the fake grass. :face_vomiting:
But he also hates change, so it’s been a many-step transition. First keeping the fence but switching the grass for the mat, then opening the fence, then switching the plastic tray for this one. I’m hoping to ditch the fence entirely next, but he’s so damn picky we’ve taken months to get this far. He’s now using this to pee on just fine, but is still struggling with the other.
But I’m determined to get there eventually!
