Woven Guitar Strap

I just finished weaving this band, which will eventually become a guitar strap for my dad. I just need to figure out and source the hardware to complete it.

It was tablet woven on an inkle loom. A simple, twist neutral, all-together pattern which was quite fast to weave.

The colours and pattern aren’t ones I would have chosen for myself, but they’re lovely and I really enjoyed working with them.

That’s a cool pattern. I bet your Dad will really enjoy seeing it every time he plays his guitar.

That’s lovely, and a thoughtful gift!

Wow! Cool pattern. It looks like it would be hard to do.

This is so good looking! And what a cool thing for a guitar playing dad: a strap made by the kid!

Cool– the way the direction changes work here makes me think of those animations that move lines around to make ever-changing geometric patterns.

What a gorgeous strap! The pattern is lovely.

Beautiful!! I’ve gotten decent guitar strap kits from a leathersmith on etsy, and they weren’t too expensive!
