Zentangle Cat on a pour painting

I bought my Cricut with the intention of adding to my pour paintings. I finally did just that and I love the results. It looks how I pictured it in my head. I still need to seal it with something but I wanted to share it now. This is an 8X10 painting. The zen tangle cat is vinyl.

I would never have thought to use the Cricut like that. I love how it turned out how you imagined it.

I love the pretty marbled colors! Where did you get the cat design? It’s so intricate!

I bought it from a shop on Etsy.

I love the combo of the geometric patterns of the zentangle and the organic look of the pour

My goodness, that was some skill just in cutting and cleaning the cat. Looks pretty on the canvas.

Right? I can’t imagine getting out all those little bits.

The end result is beautiful on the backdrop of your painting.

This one took me 3 hours to clean up. It is bigger so it didn’t have as many tiny pieces. If I did it smaller it would definitely take me ages to do!

That’s a lot of time spent weeding! But, the end result is beautiful!
