I was thinking the same thing!
@mel – can you share your cupcake pattern here or on a separate post? I need a last minute gift for a baker!
For Day 7 @Lynx sent me a box filled with papery bits. I especially like the bright rectangle pieces
I’m a bit behind!
Day 3 from @GeekyBookworm
Several bracelets!
Day 4 a family of origami wolves with magnets on the back.
Cute idea!
Thanks Geekybookworm!
They’re so cute!
@photojenn , sorry for the delay of posting your wonderful gifts.
Yesterday I opened a gorgeous echo woven ornament!
And today super cute whimsical hand-carved stamps.
Same photo for ease, and slightly dark because it’s getting dark out, but they are wonderful. Thank you.
Those are so cute!
this wee cupcake was the most fun thing to make!! even if it did end up looking rather boob-like. cough, cough. i didnt have the tomato pincushion to put in with the stuffing, but i saw one of the people who made one cut a cardboard drink mat to help with stability, so thats what i did…i am sure regular cardboard will work just as well.
and i thought the wee one might like it @fluffypants, if you werent into it…my girls loved fake food when they were small…
Well, I know what I’m adding to my January make list! Adorbs!
Thanks…I’m not sure I could sacrifice a tomato pincushion! I do like the idea of using cardboard…I don’t think she will use it as a pincushion…just a cute decor for her counter or something…I can see a lot of possibilities to make all sorts of varieties!
I get to open and post my day 8 lovelies from @photojenn bright and early!
A set of double sided coasters (she has a matching set.)
Very festive. Thanks!
i love those (well i love EVERYTHING in this gallery!!) - so eye catching!!
and speaking of catching…i need to catch up and post some stuff…i think i’m now a day behind.
day 4:
beautiful set of notecards, made with her vintage print gocco
day 5:
fantastic curtain that will be most excellent on that lonely laundry room window
my pics do not do @fluffypants’ work justice!!
Wow—that curtain is fantastic!
Love all of the beautiful bunting, cards and coasters…so festive and fun…this is my happy place as the holidays approach!
I had been hoarding that curtain fabric for an embarrassingly large number of years! I’m so glad I finally made a curtain from it, as it was what I originally intended to do when young naive Fluffypants saw it at the fabric store.
Day five, I recieved a lovely hanging dish towel from @mel ! And it’s buttoned so the little one won’t be carrying it around the house constantly! Or at least not til she understands buttons.
Day 8 from @Lynx was some of her raccoon photos. And since it’s my bday I decided to open the extra package she sent which had Bob Ross paint by numbers
I had to paint one of the tiny canvases as soon as I opened it!
Happy Birthday! I had to get myself that too and started one but haven’t finished it yet.
Enjoy your day.
It’s fun being surprised everyday at what I sent in what order.
I somehow managed to miss a day, i was sure it was only yesterday I opened a parcel!
So, day 7, an absolutely beautiful piece of art, with a lovely quote
And day 8, an uplifting pocket letter, with loads of great words, and full of lovely bits to play with
And to answer your question @Edel, I store them in ringbinder folders and when I am feeling a little low, I flick through them and read all the lovely letters
That’s a great idea for storage.
