Have we already talked about your jukebox??
I don’t think so, but I’m always happy to! Haha. It’s a 1978 Seeburg Disco; the last model they made that takes 45s. I bought it just prior to my wedding because we prefer older music and didn’t want a DJ. It cranked out the tunes all night, and now gets turned on for the occasional party or dance break.
Here’s an shot of its current look, from the summer. Sadly it spends more time as a shelf than a juke these days!
Gratutous adorable baby shot, aaahhhh!!
Day 6 from @mel! Admittedly I’m not totally sure what it is, but my first thought was a hand towel to loop on my apron ties, since it’s got a slit in the top. That would be seriously handy! Please tell me if I’m wrong.
Day 9 from @Lynx is these fun little assemblage magnets, I especially like the blue one
I will try and get a better photo in the daylight tomorrow, but day 9 is a gorgeous tote bag, in a gorgeous colour way
And with a lovely lining and internal pockets
it is indeed a hand towel and you can loop it anywhere you want!!!
love the baby/jukebox photo!!
thank you for day 6’s awesome belt loop bag!!
and check out the desert-y lining!!
I’m gonna loop that baby on my apron, stat!
Too funny that we both made belt loopy type things for today.
When you said you liked “trees and nature” I went to the fabric store with something very different in mind – but I thought the desert fabric was too unique not to grab. I hope the pouch works well for you! I trialed it a number of times and was never quite happy with the size, or the way it hung, or what have you. Then when I was finally happy with it, I panicked about sewing a button hole (never successfully done it before!) and used the snap clasp instead. Hahaha. New Year’s resolution: sew more button holes.
Also, I love those assemblage magnets from @Lynx – what a super cool idea. I’ve been working on “Stuffball”, a broken disco ball that I’ve been gluing things to for awhile now… but those mini assemblages are awesome, and seem like a much more approachable project. Gonna have to tuck that idea in my pocket!
Have to pass on that genius idea credit to @geekgirl!
Day 10 from @Lynx is this fun clock. I have it on a shelf and the cats keep looking up at it because it’s ticking
Day seven from @mel is for my little one! An adorable colorful hat! (And maybe a ploy for cute photos? ;))
yay!! it looks like it even fits!!
thank you for day 7!! i was def surprised and spoiled by all this awesomeness!!
and as if the stocking wasnt enouigh…it was filled with a ton of fun stuff:
and as a funny aside…the husbeast walked in while i was opening and then taking pics and he was all: why are you opening stuff now? you’re supposed to wait til christmas to open presents…haha
that didnt even try ribbon though…lmfao. i might have to put that on my christmas tree.
Day 11 from @Lynx is this pretty, shimmery, paper craft snowflake!
That is gorgeous!
Thank you! It was a kit that I found at Michaels. I cut it out out with an Exacto knife. I used a portion of this template for the paper ornament I gave @photojenn earlier in this swap.
Day 5 from @GeekyBookworm !
Lots of mini art canvases. Love the color palette. I think centaur and baby is my favorite. There’s also a centaur, goblins, and magic trees.
‘Tis the season to be BUSY! I forgot to post my last gifts!
Day 5:
BUTTONNNNNNNS!!! I love these! Seriously, it’s ridiculous how cool I think buttons are! I’ve been a fan of them since I was just a little wee thing.
Day 6:
A pretty snow globe ornament!
Thank you for a fun swap, @momiemae !
