I started loading my loom with my grand daughter’s colours.
2/18: A solid 10-15 minutes of table cleaning. I also “preserved” some New Years confetti and the heart confetti from @Edel’s Galentine’s package.
I wish the packing tape hadn’t wrinkled so much, but overall it’s more or less what I envisioned.
Painted my little folk art flower!
Surprisingly, it’s not on one of my postcard blanks, but a small 3.5x5" watercolor paper sample I had on hand (Strathmore 400, 100% cellulose 140lb coldpress). I’m debating whether I need to paint another folk art flower or design on one of my postcard blanks.
Love the confetti tape @megwell - genius!
That flower is gorgeous @Tapestry! And I love your palette!
Thanks! @Mountains_and_Clouds made the palette! I adore it to bits.
Beautiful folky flower!! (I love gouache folk art so much.)
And I’m glad that little hedgie palette is already being put to work!
More folk art flowers…this time they’ve wandered into the lovely sketchbook @Manders sent me. And still no postcard.
It took three quarters of the month but last night I made a doll dress. I’ll add a ribbon sash tonight.
In the last two days the only thing craft related I did was look at a new weaving book I purchased and then decided to return it.
If bird watching counts, I did that yesterday and took lots of photos.
Bird watching and looking at a craft book should totally count!
2/19 and 2/20: A reasonable amount of table cleaning (most of it yesterday…)
My couch craft the last couple of evenings has been making my boring Great Value teabag tags less boring. The bottom set got covered with scraps tonight. The top set got covered in (mostly) gel prints last night and sentiment-ed tonight while the new set dried.
I. . .may have gotten carried away?
Haha…I love that you knew that’s where minds would go…
Oooo tell me more. I do not need more classes but you know, for future reference
