A couple new lei vases

Oops, I’m a little late on posting for May Day, but here are two recent lei vases I made!
First, this heart-shaped one, which also has 'i’iwi (an endemic honeycreeper in Hawai’i) around the outside.




And then this scalloped/flower shaped one that has extensive carving of endemic birds around the outside and took forever!! :rofl:








They’re pretty fun because they can be a standalone piece, but are also great for small or single flowers !

They’re both absolutely gorgeous! I love the bird decorations.

I have never seen a vase like that, and they are beautiful with or without flowers. The carvings are magnificent.

Wow; these are gorgeous! I had never seen vases like these, either. I love the carvings, and I wish I had a vase like this to put the little flowers my littlest one still picks for me sometimes :slight_smile:
