Acorn clock

I got this massive wall clock as a roadside freebie. Totally not my style.

I revamped it into something I WOULD hang on my wall.

Acorn caps, from small to large, represent the numbers.

A circle of foamboard with posterboard on top is the base for the Sharpie drawings of oak leaves.

Tons of mistakes during this process ( I cut the circle wrong a millions times and had to cut the end off the minute hand when I proved to be so long, it was catching on the acorns) but it was something to do on a rainy day…
And when the power goes out, I will still have a clock that tells the time.
thanks for looking!

WOW! What a refashion success this is! I love use of the increasingly large acorn caps as numbers!

We almost need a roadside makeover category! Or is there one and I haven’t found it yet?
