My landscape is not abstract but I did try not to do details. I should have blended the flowers a bit.
Today’s I used a past one and added to it. It was too perfect for it.

Here are some of my most recent pages:
Expressive landscape + tracing over brushstrokes:
Shape as a focal point (debating painting over these, lol):
Splatter (over paint over words turned shapes):
Embrace empty space (really loved this one):
I still feel like maybe I follow the examples to closely and don’t have much of my own “voice” in these pages, but I’m working on it.

Did a couple more today:
Crunch it (crunched a piece of notebook paper and transferred lines to my journal):
I wasn’t sure about colors at first but they grew on me. They make me think Florida orange for some reason.
And connect the dots…over my finger paint and white paint over shapes:
There might be too much going on there now, lol.
