Beach Flotsam Pendants

I’ve had some (mostly broken) shells and beach debris in stash for quite a while. I got it at the recycled art supply shop, where they had several boxes of it. Last night, I found myself drawn to it, and made a few pendants.

I used pearls and jasper beads to embellish them.

The one below I made a long time ago from a piece of coral I got at a garage sale… but I don’t think I ever posted it. It seems to go with this set, so I’ll include it, too.

So beautiful! The crochet around them was unexpected to me, and I loved it! I am especially drawn to the first two you shared.

I adore your work! I love the mix of textures between the crocheted fiber, and the shells and the metal findings. Stunning.

Those are lovely! I love gathering things from the beach but then I never know what to do with them. Some nice inspiration!
