I have never before this done crossstitch or embroidery for it to live in the hoop, so this was a new kind of thing for me. I made this for @chameleonhound for the Green Thumb Swap because she had hoopla on her list and bees are such perfect garden magic! I got the pattern from Pinterest.
I have to say, I like cross stitch a lot more when I am not filling in the background. I am so happy I found this pretty aida cloth for this!

Beautiful work. I love the bee. The aida cloth was the perfect choice to make the white parts stand out, but in a soft natural way.
