Bee-utiful Cheese Box “Hoop”

For the scavenger hunt swap, I made this for @Cyn-energy.

I first found some buff colored card stock and cut out a circle the same size as the top of a Laughing Cow cheese container. I also cut strips as wide as the sides of the container. The lettering came first. Once I had that inked, then I created a honeycomb stencil and used it with distress inks to ink the circle of cardstock, avoiding the lettering.

I added the flowers (the centers are brads) and used a piece of foam to elevate the bee from the surface. I glued the circle to the top of the cheese box. Then I glued the strips onto the side, followed by some lace embellishment.

I had a really good time making this one!

Thanks for looking!

I am just amazed at how you “see” a cheese container as art…lol…the stenciling is just gorgeous…what a fun project…looks like cheese containers will be added to my “junk” box! lol
