Box of Whimsies/ Miniature gallery

Wow! Two amazing packages back to back!! The aboriginal style box is so cool! I have earrings from Australia that are similar and I love them! Tiny basket, goblets and doilies, oh my!

And a hobbit hole! How cool! So many fabulous goodies in there but I have to say that the handmade bowls are my favorite, too!

Tiny stuff overload!

The dotted box is lovely…I really admire the preciseness of those dotted pieces…lovely…and more tiny donuts! I am seeing a pattern for you @missingwillow…pastries, donuts…hmmm…

Nice to have a tiny cup of coffee to go with them!

That Hobbit hole box is so clever and to theme…and it is magical with all the goodies inside!

Love the tiny coffee sleeve notebook and those tiny inchie houses!

Full confession - the inchie houses are purchased. And the bowls are not my best thing that I made - I tried air dry clay, wood and twigs, fabric, a million ideas but nothing looked even remotely like a miniature thing. I am still working on conquering something more fabulous but in the end, I sent what I could. :pensive: :grimacing:

Oh Smmarrt, you heard me, the bowls are my favorite and they are mine now so don’t you dare apologize for them. :joy: Paper is your medium and they are speckled like a birds egg and they are great !!! :slightly_smiling_face:

This is a great package!!

Teeny Ccrocheted baskets are one of my favorite things. I bought some miniature woven baskets at a miniature art show once. Love everything about them.

You guys!

I received from @artsycandice and I’m floored.

Check out the miniature she sent me!

And everything opens! Oh, my heart…

So I took a minute to recover and then moved on to:

Overstuffed! Seriously, things were jumping out of the box it was so full!

First thing I saw was:

Followed by:

All the delights! There are some doozies in here, so I’d be zooming in, if I were you! :star_struck:

A few favorites, if you’d care to play ISpy with me- glass jars, tiny pots, mushroom, tiny toad, abalone pendant, ceramic leaf pendant, plates, roses, owl bead, heart bunting, bumblebee button, steampunk Washi tape… ok I’ll make it easier! I love it all! Thank you @artsycandice!

I received from @kittykill and she spoiled me with the most AMAZING package! For real, I do not deserve such lovely things.:heart::heart:

First, she sent me lots of teeny tiny treasures in the COOLEST handmade box! I put gumball machine/ Cracker Jack toys on my wish list. From the looks of this package, she must have robbed a Cracker Jack factory! So many fantastic pieces!

She also made the lovely dresser! Check out the mirror! It is so clever and the whole thing is square, solid, and gorgeous. Each drawer was jam packed with macabre tiny things!

I took photos in my classroom because my old house has dungeon lighting. I was just finishing my last photo when my first student arrived to class. He was absolutely enamored by the dresser, kittykill. He and I both think you have mad skills!
I just adore everything. Thank you, @kittykill.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that kittykill and I sent each other identical Pepsi cans. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes::grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

That bird cage is breathtaking! The newspaper in the bottom is a delightful detail. How on earth did @artsycandice create this? The “weed the garden” quote totally made my day. So many treasures! So many crafting possibilities! Love it.

Well, her husband does own a retro toy store… she could have robbed him… I’m just saying. lol

Such awesomeness though. And I LOVE that dresser. I would love to see its final incarnation/how you decorate it.
