I haven’t gotten to anything yet, these heatwaves with high humidity are killing my mojo. How i envy those with central a/c!

You are welcome in my craft room! We had a couple of record-breaking hot summers, 2020 was especially bad. We just couldn’t cool our house down whatever we tried. I remember sitting in the little basement under the stairs because it was cooler there - Mr. Imma called it my Harry Potter room.
So when we started the renovation we tried to make our house easy to cool as well as easy to heat - cold tile floors, underfloor heating that can also cool, split a/c’s upstairs for heating and cooling. Solar panels to pay the energy bills. Well, guess what, we haven’t had hot weather since 
at least this morning is starting with sunshine rather than more rain.

It is supposed to get pretty hot and humid this week over here. We only have A/C in the kids’ bedrooms because it would be too expensive to cool all of our big, old house. I just hope my kids aren’t too grumpy and miserable.

I finished a thing!
Next up, I’m finishing a thing that I started earlier this year. That won’t take a lot of time - just beading that I want to add to some cross stitch. So hopefully it will be done today.
Then - maybe that embroidered tablecloth that I’ve been working on for 10 years?

Thanks for the update. I assume you are counting my button flowers as a project? I will post photos of them in little vases when I get that far. I made flowers until I ran out of wire today. 83 total!

Three down and three or four more to go. I need to buy more wire so I can add more wire curlies and vertical stems from tiny buttons, but you get the general idea.
