I really love the little fence. These details are what I look for year to year. They really are creative and add to the theme. AND, that is a scary image!

I couldn’t resist using light for both houses. I was just going to paint the stars, but thought it would look really cool with lights.

I especially love the pumpkin with his boney hand reaching out for another pumpkin or maybe for you. The details and signs are perfect Thank you.
I always start out to design simple and easy houses and then end up with complicated twine trees, 3D cauldrons, and bead spiders. But I love these small crazy houses.
And this year is awesome everyone.

After working on a scary house, I really wanted to do something funny. I have seen so many pumpkin/scarecrow things this year, including watching the Sandman on Netflix, so I am glad you enjoyed it!
I think all of these projects start out with an idea and then start evolving.

@AIMR I love his checkered shirt and 3D arm! It is so cute! The zombie sheep are perfectly creepy. Did you paint the backgrounds? The building slats and stones look so good!

@marionberries Epic chunky-ing! The cauldron is so clever, with the fabric and skull! Spooky! And i love the twine twigs and spiders. Amazing!
@MissingWillow The slidey box door is so genius! And that girl actually is spooky! The glowy white eyes are unsettling (in a great way).
@Reese52 I love that you embraced the lights! They’re both great. I also appreciate the added bonus of the battery box serving as a stand.

Hahaha! This is a cute house with a touch of creep! The bony arm coming out is really fun, is the sleeve paper or fabric? The JoL face looks like it’s made from maybe some kind of puffy paint? The pumpkins look really cute and I like the staining/coloring on the signs. Two for $5? Cupcakes and now pumpkins…y’all are pricing too low

Chunky houses have become my favorite swap. I have over 30 now and each one is so creative and different.
