oops, jumping back in for the
END OF SEASON TALENT SHOW

I know it’s not impressive to the folks here who are actually good at sewing, but I think I’m the most proud of my flag/sash that I am now using to hold my pins!
Throughout the entire project, I was concerned I was biting more than I could chew, but it WORKED!

This hand formation purportedly makes a shadow hound, but mine came out more like a llama/alpaca(/giraffe?).

What it’s apparently meant to look like (source: USF clip art gallery.):

Adventure Club 4
Airplane made from an old underpaper. Frankly, I’m quite pleased it flew considering I made it from “memory”.

I made a mini blanket fort for my peg dolls.

I also thought it’d be fun to take a picture of them reclining in it, but it just looks kind of dire…

Project Name: mini wreath
Project Link:
Brief Description: this is my September Arts and Crafts club entry. I knew I wanted something a bit different, so I kind of unwound the cord we got and made this mini wreath. It’s about 2.5x2.5 inches. I used feathers, which I maybe found on a hike during nature camp. Hey, it could have happened that way. :woman_shrugging: Once I find my button magnets it will become home decor for real.

ADVENTURE CLUB

For my random act of craftiness, I photocopied some coloring pages to card stock and cut the results into bookmarks. I’ll be stopping by the library today to tuck these into some library books. They say “finders, keepers” on the back. They aren’t super crafty on my end, but might certainly encourage some creativity for whoever finds them.

Mission Accomplished! :hugs:

Project Name: irregular shaped Manu o kū tile

Project Link: Manu Wall Tiles

Brief Description: This is loosely inspired by “mystery casserole” as I recently started adding this white glaze for my terns, and because it’s a glaze I don’t normally use, I wasn’t sure if I would have unexpected results when it was fired. (I’m glad that it appears to be a fairly stable glaze so it generally does what I want it to do!)
