Three things I am grateful for.
A. Glad my mom made it through her surgery well.
B. Greatful that my cat, Egon’s, health is improving.
C. Mashed potatoes, because they are absolutely delicious.
Random act of craftiness. I gave this little tray to my mom. It looks like her three cats!
Brief Description: I have 2 trios of planters on either side of my front walkway, and last summer, I planted them up almost entirely with clearance plants in July. This year, I never got around to it, so except for the hostas, I only grew weeds. I went for breakfast this morning and it was right next to a garden center, so I strolled through, looking for some pansies. They didn’t have much, so I grabbed an assortment of their remaining fall annuals. I planted both sets of pots up the same way, but mirrored. I hope they grow a little to fill in before the cold weather kills off some of them. I realized when I was almost done that I could have divided the pansies, but I didn’t want to dig them up and replant them. The hostas are on their way out for the season, so I will fill the gaps with fake pumpkins and gourds (the squirrels just eat the real ones). Hopefully, like the best casseroles, this blend of plants turns out great!

Prompt: Zap 5 Team: Cabin Finger Painters Project Name: Glow in the Park shirt Project Link: N/A Brief Description: The parks department put on a Glow in the Park event. You’re encouraged to wear white/neon (for blacklight purposes), so I wore a cheap white T-shirt from Michaels and streaked it with highlighters at the event decorating station. That’s my actual crafting here. Then for the main event they basically fired paint out of giant syringes (for lack of a better description) from the stage. Project Photo: My final shirt after the whole event. You can tell I was decorating it while wearing it because of how the streaks on the back are concentrated .
Adventure Club 3
I did actually visit a pool this summer, but I didn’t have my phone with me . So the best I can do is my painty water bottle and a weird zoomed in shot of the foam pit from the event last night. I assume there has to be water somewhere in the foam…
Prompt: August - mess hall Team: cabin finger painters Project Name: tooth keychain Project Link: Brief Description: I had to have a molar extracted a few weeks ago, so I made this for my oral surgeon. I’ll give it to him on my follow up later this week. I went with mystery casserole because it sure would be startling to find a tooth in your food! Project Photo(s):
Brief Description: Paper cranes are definitely an indoor summer camp activity. (Also, decided to decorate an egg so I can finally check off “an art piece out of food” for the pin challenges…)
Ok, I somehow only have the “visit a body of water” left. I also just realized it’s highly likely I was actually near a big body of water and didn’t really think about it, so I just went through my camera roll because I figured if I had taken any photos of a body of water it must have been enough of an event that it could count… and I found at least one. This is from late July; I think I was dropping something off at one of the shipping centers near here… but I thought to take a photo, so I’m counting it! lol
Pick up a piece of litter- I don’t have a photo of this at the moment, but every afternoon, I have to go around my classroom and pick up trash on the floor. Some days it’s a small amount, but other days… sigh…
Handwrite a letter or card- In addition to my 3 postcards, I sent my mom a birthday card, and delivered an overdue wedding card.
11. Write down three things you are grateful for- 1) I am grateful that I have a good job that I love (most of the time). 2) I am grateful that my siblings are not too far away and that I love spending time with them. 3) I am grateful that I can spend my free time in creative pursuits!

Brief Description: I tried a ghost like @Smeddley but I started the skirt part too late and now he looks more like an Adipose wearing a skirt. I gave him to the dog.

Brief Description: These are witchy windows ornaments. The acrylic is pre-printed, so I’m just following the sizing, but I like how they came out. The frames are 2-sided laser cut and painted black.
