Prompt: January - Goodnight Monotype Team: Pepperoni Posse Project Name: Winter Nerd Games Tracking Pages Project Link:Tracking Pages Brief Description: My first set of tracker pages for the winter games. And it’s only as I’m posting them that I noticed I didn’t include tracking for zaps, free range, etc. Sigh. I added it to the bottom of the Pin Event page in the downloads below and will just pencil it into my notebook.
@Tapestry , love those tracking pages! I’m still trying to set up my 2026 journal and need to make sure I use it to keep me on track for the Games! Definitely going to use your setup as a template, thanks!
Make It Goals:
January - Research Project Posted (w/community post) - 2026 Goal Book
February - Research Project Posted (w/community post) - Granny Square Chair Covers
I loved your tracking sheets from last season, but I didn’t use them. But, I have a decorated composition notebook that I have never used, which would be perfect for using them, I think.
I will probably still use my digital format, too, but I like how this is a quick visual of each season!
It was a toss-up between cheese and pepperoni, but I had to go with the posse.
Prompt: The Glitter House on the Prairie (January) Team: Pepperoni Posse Project Name: August calendar page Project Link: N/A Brief Description: I created this riso-printed page as part of a collaborative calendar program at the library this morning. For me it’ll be useful around the house (I needed a 2026 calendar for my office), but I think some people would argue that physical wall calendars are old-fashioned. Project Photo(s):
Prompt: Zap 1 Team: Pepperoni Posse Project Name: March calendar page Project Link: N/A Brief Description: We didn’t have enough people at the program to fill out the calendar with 1 page per person, so I picked up March as well and quickly banged this out. Project Photo(s):

LIBRARY VISITS EVENT
We’ll be making regular trips to the library throughout the season! Complete all of the library tasks and you’ll be eligible to claim a small physical prize.
To participate, simply complete the task before the deadline and click the YES button in the poll. NO POSTS or evidence are needed for Library Visits. You may, of course, share what you did, but it is not required. As long as you complete the task in the assigned time, you can click the button whenever you’re on here next.
Library Visit 1: Due January 11
We’re going to the library! As soon as we’re inside, you beeline it for mystery section. This week, try a new thing. Anything at all.
Book It references? How can I resist??? (Especially hopped up on 80’s nostalgia after finishing Stranger Things 5.). Let’s try a new (to me) Craftalong…
MY MAKE IT! GOALS:
January: Complete a small wintery wall quilt for my entryway door.
February: Make some sample QAYG potholders for examples in my Allerton class.
March: Craft at least 1 decoration, food/treat/cake, or set of party favors for Ada’s birthday.

Yeeeess! Welcome, @MistressJennie ! So glad you’re jumping in to this very bookish season!
Prompt: January - Goodnight Monotype Team: Pepperoni Posse Project Name: Snow Globe mini quilt Project Link:Snow Globe Collage Brief Description: I spent waay to long figuring out what the plaque on the base of the snow globe would say (which was kind of silly considering that I only had a couple of text fabrics with limited words to choose from).
Visiting the library wouldn’t be something new for me, but I should go anyway!
Also, this sounds like a good opportunity to remind folks that there is a lot more than just books offered by the library!
A lot of these things are online too, and although whether or not you have access depends on your own local library system and the subscriptioms they have, some of my favorites include:
-Libby, where you can check out audiobooks, ebooks, and periodicals! (hint hint! crafting magazines, etc.)
-Mango, which is language learning lessons,
-Kanopy, streaming service that has a lot of stuff on rotation, and sometimes has hard-to-find indie films I’m looking for,
-ArtistWorks - video music lessons!
I love books. I love Reading Rainbow. I’ve helped my kids participate in the Book it Program for the last several years….I think it is time I join the Nerd Games!
