The movie Kamikaze Girls from 2004 popped into my head. Momoko likes lolita style and Ichigo likes yanki style. Opposite ends come together to form a friendship. My friend introduced this movie to me when we first started hanging out together, pretty much right after I moved here some seventeen years ago.
I was thinkIng about Clueless, too…
Step Brothers. Brennan and Dale.
Did we just become best friends?
Yup!
This is tricky…it would seem I don’t watch a lot of movies. Let’s go with Rapunzel and Pascal from Tangled (which was my daughter’s favorite movie when she was little).
I also seem to be in the “Wait, do I even like any movies about friends?” camp, so I think I have to go with Gonzo, Rizzo, and Jim in Muppet Treasure Island. G & R especially, for sticking by Jim even when he kind of throws them over for Long John.
Hahah…great one! ![]()
Omg!!! I love Gonzo and Rizzo in any muppet movie together. Add PePe in that mix. Amazing combo.
PePe!!!
I’m going with Lilo and Stitch’s friendship.
Mothra and Godzilla…hey, I don’t watch a lot of movies, but this one was in the background while I was painting one day!
Movie best friends. Hmmm. Well, I don’t watch a lot of movies and honestly the first thing that popped into my head was Billy and Josh from the 80s movie BIG. ![]()
Good one!
Kid friendships are so strong. How about Stand By Me?
Harry, Ron and Hermione and also Han and Chewie. ![]()
Hm… maybe Copper and Tod from the fox and the hound. But to be fair I think I listened to a tape with a picture book and might not have actually watched the movie.
Tommy and Richard from Tommy Boy- who don’t start out as friends but end up that way.
Yes!!! That’s a good one!
Ooo! Yes!
I think I’ll say Legolas and Gimli.
We’re big LOTR fans in this house, especially Mr jemimah - he suggested Gollum and Smeagol …
Hahaha!
We have some senders, so now we have a GAL-lery! Sorry, couldn’t help the pun!
