COMPLETED: Creature Comfort Stuffie Swap SU:July 30 - Aug 10 SO:September 11th

I’m very visual. When I taught computer applications, I would often picture dropdown menus and dialog boxes in my mind…I didn’t know what they were called, but I could see them!

I do the same now, I visualize where I saw it last…but after a big rearrange…my short term memory plays tricks

Me too! If my husband moves stacks or bags around I can never seem to find those things again. I always remember what it was sitting next to. lol

What a view, so much better than my scorched grass yard!

Love the little character too. It looks awesome.

My seasonal allergies are much better living in the desert without grass!

Your place very much reminds me of my time in Phoenix. I am really missing it right now. I’ll take the 110°+ weather over the humidity here in SC any day. Ugh.

I definitely don’t miss humidity!

I live in the mountains (3000-4000 ft). People up here start complaining when it hits 80°- 85°. Where I used to live, summer easily hit 100° so I think 85° is great but you better not say that to a local!

Ordered a missing bit for the creature of comfort. It’s always like that, I have everything but the one bit that is essential to fulfill my vision. The stach never seems to shrink. I did have fun with the stalking. So many supper cute creatures out there just waiting to be loved.

I needed one small item and ended up having to buy a bulk set of it. So now i have a bunch of “BLANK” for my stash. That’s okay though because I am sure I can use more of it. I am excited to see how my project turns out. I think it will be neat. :green_heart:

Ordered some bits, too … stalking the package tracking now! C’mon, c’mon …

I’ve pretty much decided on what to make and I’ve mostly figured out how I want to make it. Now to check my stash and order bits I don’t have

Looks like there’s lots of “bits” ordering going on. I, too, had to purchase “bits” the other day because the bits I currently had were either 1) too small or 2) mismatched. And, like some of you, now I’ll have bits for another day! Although, with the way my kids are putting in stuffie orders all of a sudden, I may end up using them all before the month is out. Oh well!

:face_with_symbols_over_mouth: Chugging along quite nicely only to discover that I’m out of a certain color of thread. I can’t believe I haven’t noticed I’m out of this color before now…

It has been 115 pretty much every day for two months now but I work nights so I miss the bulk of the heat.

Well that’s horrifying. :flushed:

I think I have a Plan, but I’ve got a couple other swaps to finish up before I get started.

Still waiting on a tool to arrive in the mail, but it’s working out fine because I have other swaps to work on for now anyway. I’ll get to it once the tool arrives, and hopefully have more stuff finished and ready for the other swaps before then!
