Supplies are gathered, now to enjoy a quiet weekend at home making The Things! I may go ahead and buy a magnifying lamp because I can’t bloody see what I’m doing anymore, but I’ve decided that isn’t a craft supply purchase for the purposes of this swap. :grin:

Woohoo! I have two items done. I started a “test” version of item 3 last night, so far the measurements in the tutorial I’m using don’t seem right for the materials I have…we’ll see…

One item “finished” (I’m leaving something unfinished on purpose, but all the work is done), and one item is at least halfway done, after a lot of cursing but a fascination that won’t let me quit. :laughing: I botched the first version of it quite a ways in, but I’m hoping to find a way to save it so I can have one of these, too!

This makes me laugh so hard! Now I’m super curious!

For me, one process is started, but it’s a lot of passive wait time while… magic happens. I rummaged around the other day and found a particular supply item I needed. Now I need to do that for item #3 and then I can get started!

I’m almost done with the medium. I finally decided on something and just ran with it. Materials prepped for the second small, but I’ve gotta whip up a few more masks for my kiddo (school starts this week) before I can get to that. :roll_eyes: :mask:

I have finished my first small…and am tossing up what the second should be. I’ve got a few ideas! Paralysed by choice :stuck_out_tongue: Oh well, I’ll just make a start on my medium and then hopefully it will come to me :slight_smile:

I had one of my small items done and I showed it to my husband and he nicely agreed that it looked weird and not like what it was supposed to be. Back to the drawing board!

I just realized I wasn’t getting notifications from this thread! I was wondering why it was so quiet. :slight_smile:

I started my medium, but it went a little wonky. I think it’s salvageable (or the wonkiness might be charming, we’ll see). I am still thinking on the smalls. Couple ideas floating around but I’ve gotta do another stash dig before I decide.

At least he was nice! I hope your next iteration turns out how you imagine it! I’m always bouncing ideas off my husband and showing him things in various stages of make. He’s very patient about it all. Good thing!

I was all pumped to wrap up my medium the other day when my ________ went on the fritz and mucked it up. Bah! Not sure whether to try to fix it or start over at this point. At least I did a little craft room cleaning to ease the frustration. :slight_smile:
