Crochet Gecko Bookmark

A lovingly crocheted book gecko made from a smooth and shiny 100% cotton yarn. The head is stuffed with polyfill. To make it one of a kind I added a stylish rose bud ”hat”. It measures around 40 cm from fingertips to tail tip and will work for both bigger and smaller books. More of the tail and back legs will stick out when used in a smaller soft cover book.

The eyes are made from yarn, and while I’ve fastened everything securely I would advice against giving it to a small child. There are cats in my home but the bookmark can be washed if that’s an issue. After washing: dry flat and iron the body and legs, but not the fingers and toes to keep their 3D structure.
