Well, you know you are represented in my “formal” art wall…and there are so many more to be added once I get a new space… (hint, hint) :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Wow, those collections :star_struck:

There’s lots of stuff in the office & the studio but the main floors of the house are mostly kid art & formal pieces, except for these faves

A lot of the things I cherish are actually in use…I just added @thanate’s pottery lettuce leaf to be my favorite earring holder and a basket you made me holds my crochet sweater project!

I have used a pouch made for me by @edel for years in my purse. You could say my life is filled with handmade happiness!

Oh, yes, I use all the pouches!

Look what arrived today!

@MistressJennie also added the pillow cover above as a surprise bonus (it’s currently stuffed with a too large pillow, lol).

Best of all, the quilt meets with LittleBookLover’s approval, and it’s big enough that he can fully lay out while he plays.

I’m looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this set! Thank you so much, @MistressJennie!

Well, the pillowcase was short lived. LittleBookLover discovered it and found the envelope closure on the back. He commandeered it for one of his favorite games (usually played with a bag) - I put a toy in, he takes the toy out.

@Immaculata, you’re right. The new owner does love the quilt, he actually gave a little squeal of delight as he crawled onto it with his toys, as if he was thrilled to have such a bright and cheerful new place to play! We have a balcony covered in faux grass and I used to lay out comforters from his bed for him to lay and play on. The lemonade quilt will replace the comforter and it makes me smile to know how much he’ll enjoy it!

Awww…I remember my mom making envelope style pillow cases for us to put our PJs in…and yes, it also made a great place to hide toys! Hours of fun for a child!

I’m so, so glad to hear he likes it! My heart is melting.

I hate having random blocks that truly belong to a project, just sitting around, gathering dust. I had 2 block components done, and the prepped portions for 4 more. So I made the other 4, then picked the ones that worked best together to make the pillow. Got to use up nearly all of the scrap backing, and another random fat quarter that had been in the pile for this quilt. Still hand enough scraps leftover to send 2 block components, and a bunch of 2.5" squares to @AudiobookLover. Maybe she’ll discover something she needs to make with them. :thread: :lemon: :blue_heart:

My final two Garage Sale items arrived safely yesterday!! :sparkling_heart:

First, the stunning little forest trinket box made by @artsycandice

It’s beautiful all around, and even on the inside with its shiny forest-y green inner finish. The wood textured outside is fun to both look at and feel, and I love the mushroom and ladybug friends so much. I haven’t decided what I’m going to hide inside it yet, but it’s living on my at-home desk for now. Hmm, maybe M&Ms to relearn myself for writing yucky emails.

And then, the stunning ceramic vase from @FiredGinkgo :gift_heart: I am so excited to have such a lovely piece that will also be a functional treasure to use for special occasions and random fun flower picking days (like when our mountain laurel bush blooms and needs trimming!). The contrast is textures is delightful, and I love the organic flow of the blue-green glaze.

And look! I got a fortune cookie!! :fortune_cookie: :star_struck: Its so cute! I am overly in love with it and will absolutely be sticking sappy love notes to my husband in there from time to time.:hibiscus: I also appreciated the sweet note from Jenn. :two_hearts: This site is so absolutely unique and important and amazing, and I am honored to support it. (And here’s a final view of the case on my mantelpiece where it compliments everything!)
