Looks cool!
Thank you! It’s from Birch Fabrics. They are an organic fabric company.
Thank you! I’m very happy with how it turned out!
Nice! And the fabric is very cute.
oh, how very LOVELY!!
I was busy this weekend!
I made:
-
husband a shirt but it’s not fitting correctly. I may just remake it from his actual measurements instead of copying one
-
a cushion for my sewing area chair
-
3 pairs of earrings from legos along with 2 brooches
PHEW! that’s a lot from me in 3 days.
This is my first post of a finished project!!! This was my first spin on my Cricut, playing around creating designs with some separate SVGs I grabbed off Etsy. I’m excited to play around some more!!!
( SVG credit goes to MinimoleStudio, font is Avocado Creamy from dafont)
I have a few works-in-progress including a lap quilt I want to make to keep in my camper. I’m also deep in inkscape tutorials on youtube to get a better idea of how to make my own SVGs.
Also on my “to-do” list is set up my second sewing machine for my DD. Tiny human has shown great interest in Momma’s “room of requirement” (aka, my crafting studio). I shall show her the way…
Time to craft has been a blessing in disguise with quarantine!
So I convinced a good friend that she needed a sewing machine. And she bought one. Another convert to our cause.
Just don’t tell her, sewing machines can be like potato chips!
This is really fun!! Have you checked out the Nerd Games Craftalong?
This last weekend there was a one-day stay-at-home quarantine Gish (an international scavenger hunt run by Misha Collins). One of the items was to show a household object we’ve made friends with along the lines of Wilson from Castaway. And so I present Sewphia Hemingway, who has been helping me make masks:
Another challenge was to “display a roll of toilet paper like the treasure it is,” so here’s my photo for that:
I started reading through. It changes up monthly right, I was going to dive in May 1 and start fresh
Actually, the only time sensitive part is the monthly battle (April’s battle prompt needs to be shared in April), but all other prompts can be shared or completed anytime within the current term, so feel free to pop in and join anytime!!
So even though I’m not a huge fan of making masks a couple of friends have asked for some. Those who are making hundreds of masks amaze me. I find masks tedious to make and it just makes me tired of sewing to make too many.
The podcast one makes me giggle.
These are fabulous!!! I like the podcast one, too.
Omg I need all those cards! Not sure what for but they are so fun!
Those cards are fab!!
Love these.
The podcast one is brilliant but the path to inner peace is my favourite.
