Crochet Journal

While this isn’t a crocheted item, it’s used for crochet!

As part of the end of year gifts for the kids in my crochet club, I made yarn caddies and these crochet journals. I had intended to use my Bind-It-All on them, but I don’t know where it went. So, I hole-punched them and put them in binders. It actually worked out better because the kids can add more pages, and can also use the binder to store patterns! I had purchased two sets of printable journals on Etsy, and combined parts of each one. I put in multiples of several of the pages, like the project pages and row counting pages. I created laminated front covers using a printed crochet blanket image backed by cardstock, and a plain piece of cardstock, also laminated, for the back cover. They were a hit!

Lovely journals!

These will be so helpful!

These are so thoughtful!

Great idea!!

Thank you, everyone! I had a couple of extras, so I will give one to the nurse and maybe keep one for myself, but I don’t know if I can consistently use it :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: I might just keep all of the spare pages so the kids can restock their binders next year.

Wow! Bet the kids were over the moon. Looking at this makes me wish I were organized enough to use systems like these. Love it!
