Dancing Crane Brooches

Every year I think this is the year I’m going to do a new project every week. It hasn’t happened yet, but I still hope this year might be my year. XD

Anyway, here are some new year dancing crane brooches.

They bases are made of chip board coated with chiyogami paper. The feathers are all white silk habotai folded and glued into place. It’s a technique called tsumami zaiku.
