I love dinosaurs and I got super excited when the sign-ups for the Dinosaur swap opened. We haven’t gotten partners yet, but I was so inspired that I went ahead and made some cute dinosaur fridge magnets for myself.
I recently found the fun of felt, and I bought a bunch. I mean a TON in my excitement. I need to whittle it down some for storage reasons, so I decided to make the magnets out of felt. This was the first time I sewed felt like this, normally I make 3-D stuffies out of it. It was fun and I think it turned out cute.
They are 2"x2" and have 2 strong magnets on the back of them. I was inspired by some super awesome magnets that @Magpie made me of my cats.
I am including two pics because the colors vary so much, but the true color is somewhere in between. Oh! And I was so proud that the French knots for the eyes turned out so well! Those things are hit and miss for me. Ha!
Here is one of the magnets that @Magpie made me that inspired these magnets. She has made me 5 so far. They are one of the sweetest things I have ever gotten because they are of my cats. This is Mew, originally the neighbors’ cat but I adopted her after they threw her out. I love these magnets so much!!!
