Easy peanut butter, banana, and egg pancake

When I feel like making breakfast but don’t feel like making much effort, I make these:

Peanut Butter, Banana, & Egg Pancake

A friend of mine told me about these years ago, so I’m not sure where she got the recipe.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons peanut butter (I use the “just peanuts” kind from Costco)
1 egg
1 medium size banana
Dab of butter, margerine, or oil

Method

Heat the butter, margarine, or oil in a small frying pan over medium heat.

Put the rest of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour enough of the batter from the blender into the frying pan to cover the bottom of the pan.

Fry until the sides start to form a clear circular shape and/or there are a few air bubbles on the surface. Carefully flip over and fry for another 1 to 2 minutes.

This makes about 4 small, thin pancakes. They’re delicious and full of protein, too

I forgot to grab a picture of the finished product…

Wow! Amazed by this recipe. Wouldn’t think you could make pancakes without any flour.

Could the recipe have come from Elvis?

Impressive!

I’m not sure I get the reference

Elvis liked peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

They are also a fave of mine. Delicious! :yum:

And I may have to try this recipe!
