I have been following this pattern designer on YouTube named Kasia Jacquot. She has a relaxed style of stitching and her patterns and tutorials are very detailed and easy to follow. I bit the bullet and bought her Kasia pattern. It was designed for a cross body, but she gives you so many options to use the pattern or parts of the pattern for other things. I plan on using the heck out of it!
It took me days to embroider it since there were a lot of French Knots and satin stitches as well as a herringbone stitch border. I had to watch her stitch tutorials a few times to get how to do some of these, even though they are simple.
I made the bag about 3 inches longer than the pattern to accommodate by wallet. I also made the strap adjustable so that I can wear it as a cross body or make it a shoulder bag. It can also be worn at the hip with the straps or I can slip a belt through the side rings. Very versatile bag.
Wow! I’m so impressed that you not only constructed the bag, but did all the embroidery too. I’ve loved seeing your progress on this, and seeing the finished product is just the cherry on top. Well done!
That is the prettiest crossbody bag ever! I love the stitches and colors and you found the absolute perfect liner fabric! I hope it lasts ages and ages because it’s too pretty to ever retire.
This makes me want to embroider something (but would have to be very very basic LOL)
Thx for sharing

Thanks! All of this embroidery is very basic. Plus, she has free tutorials on how to do all the stitches. If you can stab a needle in and out, you can embroider!
