Everyone who camps has a camping wardrobe. I’ve ruined more clothes or made them unsuitable for leaving the house on more than one occasion. And I like to wear fun, funky things when camping, the tie-dye shirt with holes, the oversized hiking shorts with all the pockets, and a creatively repaired burn hole.
My camping sweatshirts are in a sorry state, even for camping! I bought a new gray sweatshirt, but it was just too pristine and BORING.
So a little dressing up was necessary.

That is a beautiful embellishment! What was your process for making the feather? It is lovely.
I cut out the feather pieces from an old tie dye tshirt and then added embroidery around the edges. I did iron on the pieces using iron on bonding to keep them in place.
It was a nice project to watch tv by.
