First attempt at nail art

I’m on my 4th course of prednisone for asthma since September… and it’s destroying the skin around my cuticles and nails.

So I’ve been putting cuticle oil and nail strengthener on that skin several times a day to try to keep it rom overly peeling like the first time (it bled).

To make myself feel better about this nonsense, I decided to try and paint my nails to have a reason to be doing this much nail and cuticle care that’s less frustrating than medication side effects lol

And since today was the first day of Christmas, I went festive

I have a lot to learn so this is just cheap product from the dollar tree. Nail polish, metallic nail pens, and top coat. Nail strengthner underneath it all.

I like that you turned adversity into an opportunity to try something new. The metallics are so festive looking!

I’m impressed with how neat you got things. Whenever I try to paint my nails it looks like a toddler on a sugar high painted them.

I hope the strengthener works! Those side effects sound awful.
