First two eggs of 2020

Awww, thanks, everyone! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I think the red/yellow one was only about 90 minutes, and the one with pink/blue was about 2 hours-ish.

Thank you! But don’t worry; they’re far from perfect. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You should try it! As far as a supply “investment,” they’re really not bad at all… I keep my dyes in mason jars and I’ve had my current batch for at least several years, but they’re also pretty cheap in the first place.

The dyes are gorgeous, vibrant colors… I’m told the dyes are toxic, though, so be aware that you are not supposed to eat the eggs after dying them. (Of course, who would want to break those beautiful shells, anyway?)

I’m not sure anyone is selling toxic dyes anymore, especially for the dilutions, but it’s true, I don’t think I would eat an egg I spent hours decorating… :joy:
