Foxy Friend

Some free patterns from Hobbii came into my feed so I decided to try a couple. I really don’t like making amigurumi, but I now have a little niece that loves anything crochet.

After I made the the little lamb, I decided to make the fox. The construction for this designer’s animals are easy to follow and pretty basic. The fox went much faster after having made the lamb.

I changed the pattern a bit so I wouldn’t have to make separate panties like I did with the lamb.

The fox came with the dress, scarf and booties as well. I am sure my little niece will have fun playing with both. I screwed up and grabbed the wrong size hook, but the fox and the lamb are nearly the same size, so the clothes should be interchangeable if she wants.

Thanks for looking.

What a cute fox! Maybe amigurumis would be less stressful if you crocheted the main body but sewed the clothes and accessories? Either way, your neice has a dedicated aunt. :purple_heart:

I don’t mind the crochet part…it is all the fiddly parts you have to sew on.

I am going to look for either a colorful snake or fish next.
