From Potential to Pajamas

Since I buy all my fabric secondhand, I have a real problem with seeing potential in everything and then never wanting to use any of it as “test” fabric. Both of these fabrics were in that slot - not patterns/colors I’d wear out, but too high quality to “waste” as muslin fabric. But combined with the Simplicity 9250 pattern I got from @MamaRhi in the Use it or Lose it last year, they make great spring pajamas!

So happy to have these out of eternal limbo.

Nice job using the fabric and creating something useful! I like the pj pants, there’s something about that fabric that reminds me of my childhood .

That’s a great idea for those pieces that you buy or are given to you but might not be your style or in fashion any longer!

I think the set is cute and I especially love the pants.

And cute pajamas to boot! This was a great way to turn that stash into something super functional.

Well done using fabric for such a lovely project!

Seriously. I’m certain that I had a nightgown made out of that fabric as a kid. :joy:
