That’s bonkers. I remember my bestie emailing me in late May that there was snow when she was doing grad school in Denver many, many, many years ago.

It’s totally bonkers. What’s funny is that within minutes of my typing that it started snowing. It’s still snowing, but jus the tiniest amount. So little and so dry that folks in places that aren’t used to snow could totally drive in it!

Yeah, I’m near the mountains and we’re freaking out about lack of snow, too

Im in VA and we are preparing for 12 hours of freezing rain starting at noon. We got snow last night. They expect a lot of multi-day power outages. I packed up my five cats and went to my moms. She has a fireplace and generator. She has three cats and a dog. So far its been okay. No fights.

I think I’ve finished my extras and finally 
have the cards figured out. They’ve been a challenge!
Just ice and freezing rain here- looking forward to a free crafting day tomorrow as long as the power stays on

@EclecticDreamer I am very concerned about fire season. If we don’t start getting snow pack it’s going t come early, stay late, and potentially be brutal.
Back to the GALentine’s! Mine are in my bag, so that I can take them to the USPS tomorrow. We don’t have mail service at our house - the cluster box is at the bottom of the road, about a mile away. And I want to be sure that a non-machinable stamp is enough postage. I was hoping to get the new Bruce Lee stamps while I was there, but I realized I didn’t’ know the release date and it’s Feb 18. Dang! I was going to get those for TheMisterT as part of his Valentine’s gift for him to use on his thank you notes.

I live in Colorado so this weather is typical for my area. It’s been snowing lightly all weekend and we only received an inch as of this morning.
Had a chance to make the “bones” of all my 6 cards and finished my small. I need more construction paper to finish the cards and hopefully send a bit early.
I can’t wait for the gallery to start once people start receiving. That’s the only thing I need patience when I finish projects, I have to wait for partners to receive before posting.

All of mine are done and I just need to finish writing notes in each and wait for the roads to clear enough for me to reach the post office. My son’s school is canceled for tomorrow and I’ll be shocked if Tuesday isn’t canceled as well. I think Wednesday is more likely for being able to drive without risking our lives. Lots of new snow and ice fell overnight.

It was 6 inches in the driveway when I went out about 11:15 (Eastern). I think we’re projected for 10-ish total by the time it’s over. But not really any ice here, which I’m grateful for.

I didn’t realize but I bought flat cards, not folded cards. I then couldn’t find my cards, bought more, then found the originals. Grabbed one pack and took off to an event where I was multitasking. THAT is when I discovered they were flat. So think postcard but mailed in an envelope. I’m undecided if I should start over or just go with it. Also I made 5 and messed up two. I think I’m going to just finish the 3 I have.
I’m also struggling with my makes. Planned idea 1, 2 and new idea 3 are playing bumper cars. (Stick to #1 or #2 bcuz I already own those supplies)
Maybe I’ll just make all the things and have a future stash.

Finished my three cards today! Working on the craft…
It snowed here by Denver, but it’s been so warm that it has mostly melted. I put out the bird feeder a week or two ago. A new one is coming in soon from chewy. It’s so dry, though. Worse than normal. My cats are even feeling the effects. They’re itchy and have static fur. Looking into purchasing another humidifier.

I got all my cards done yesterday, even addressed the envelopes. Still working on the extra smalls. I may need to pivot to something different. hoping I get some crafting time after work before book club.

I’m jealous! I walked the mile to my mom’s house today and slipped five times and fell twice. I managed to wrench my wrist in that last fall and am not looking forward to the sore muscles tomorrow. My car will not be leaving my garage until I won’t require a set of ice skates to make it anywhere.
