I actually used red and pink in my cards…I think of Galentines as an extension of Valentines. It’s all about spreading the friend-love!
I am thinking of a mellow yellow and pink. A soft yellow for sunshiney happiness and pink for the love you have for friends.
I don’t associate any specific colors with Galentine’s, so all the colors!
For the record, I used all the colors with my Galentine’s cards. ![]()
Probably yellow, because I heard a long time ago that a yellow rose represents friendship.
Hyacinth blurple and turquoise and wisteria!
But all the colours are good of course! ![]()
Galentine’s Day - i say purple and gold. Though I’m using links, reds, purple, and a red-orange in my cards/xtra’s.

All the colors!
all my gold matallic pens have stopped working! I bought metallic sharpies tonight but they are dull.
Gold is such a hard color to get right. You can get dull, too bright, too yellow, not yellow enough.
Hmmm… I’m a bit all over the place with colours. Might go for some hot pink, just because.
I have a few possibles that lean more ”valentines” in colour for my cards, but any colour in the rainbow is fair game for a friend day really.
I hope to get my cards sorted this weekend. There has been no sneaking in craft time this week. Monday was kitty dentist time and she had to pull 3 out of 4 canines + one more regular tooth. She’s not felt great, but has started to perk up and eat a bit better now.
Oh no! Poor kitty. Mine goes to the vet on the 4th for his yearly dental. I already know he has to get one removed. He just has the worst teeth. I hope your baby heals up fast.
I think red and pink as Galentines is Valentines adjacent. And I used a lot of pink in my cards!
In real life, I think Galentines colors depend on the relationship and/or recipient. In LC life, I feel like anything goes, but I usually have valentines colors in my heads.
Cards mostly done, but I might want to tidy up some parts. I’ll let them sit until tomorrow and see if they need a finishing touch or not.
Im putting mine in the mailbox tomorrow!
Without international stamps, I’m over here feeling like Mrs. Weasley. “I do hope I’ve put enough stamps on.”
I bought US stamps at the prescribed rate, and then obsessively weighed my sealed and addressed envelopes in case the post office lied to me, lol.
I know the feeling. Plus mine were a bit more than an ounce. They’re in the mailbox now. It’s up to the postal gods at this point.
