Handbound notebook, bookmarks, never-ending card, and pockets for book swap

For the winter book swap, I gave my partner a “Tea Dragon Society” book, and then I made a tea-themed package.

For the small item, I handbound a notebook and made a teacup bookmark:

I used watercolour pages and cut them to a smaller size, sewed signatures together, and cut a cereal box in 3 pieces to make the cover. The cloth for the cover is from stash.

I decorated some pages and the back with some washi tape.

The teacup bookmark is 2 pieces of sturdy scrapbook paper glued together, and then I used string, watercolour paper, and markers for the tea bag and tea card. The tea card tells you to try different flavours, and the flavours are the names of the dragons in the book series.

I made a couple of pockets to send some extras, like tea and stickers, and I wrapped a chocolate bar and the handmade book in a way to create pockets for some more extras.

And finally, I made a never-ending card:

The card was really fun to make and works really well as a fidget. I will be making more of these.

And here are the gifts all wrapped up.

Thanks for looking!

Those tea holders are fabulous! Love that you made little notes about the flavors…I get so many teas in swaps that I love but I forget to write anything down so I can’t buy the tea for myself!

Everything together is a lovely package…well thought out and made nicely!
