Has anybody else noticed the white rectangles of paint in the photo heading up this topic look like masks? I know they are for writing addresses on but every time I see them, I think “MASKS”! lol
I received such a whack of lovely mail over the past couple of days. It’s just the nicest thing to come home to personal letters, every day it’s the first thing I ask about and boy howdy, am I ever disappointed if there hasn’t been a delivery that day.
Really fantastic Mushroom March card from @Reinikka. Do you have an alphabet thing that cuts out whatever words you’d like? What is it? I want one!

Florida post cards for me and one for our neighbour Jan from @bluebird, thank you so much for thinking of her, I know she is very excited about receiving mail. Poor girl, she’s got to wear a knee brace possibly forever, she needs cheering up! And maybe she’ll join and share her art work, she’s amazing at it!
And last but not least, you should all see the enviable hand writing inside the card from @Beag. For real, it’s beautiful.

Not yet but some mail seems to be taking forever. I’m still waiting for holiday cards I sent in mid December to be received! Oh well, xmas in July, right? LOL!

Aww…so glad…and I got happy mail from you today! Waiting for my phone to recharge to take loads of pics…I have a bit of catching up to do…busy week as well…so nice to get happy mail…and, some stuff I ordered finally got here so I am a happy camper for the weekend!

LOL and now I see it too! 
that was an envelope I decorated for a happy mail type swap on another site, but ti was just for the envelope with nothing inside… it was fun to make but weird not to include a letter

I have a pile of happy mail 
I’ll have to take time on Sunday or Monday to properly acknowledge everything but I have two Easter cards and some happy mail from @susieoregon, @AIMR, and @geekgirl

Mr. Imma has been telling me for days about mail from Florida that’s supposed to arrive, but it’s not here yet 
We did get a women’s magazine that was not for us but for a lady with the same house # in a different street, so I’ll drop that off today and ask if she got my mail instead. It’s maybe a 200 meter walk, but the magazine is for older women so maybe it’s hard for her to walk.
I’ve written most of my old cards and I’ll mail them today, hopefully next week I’ll find some time to write letters. I bought the most gorgeous stamps, but unfortunately they’re only for domestic mail:
The sentiments are all the common ones on greeting cards, so you can match card and stamp! My favourite is the cup of tea that says “Have a nice day”.

Oh, those are very cool!
Foreign stamps are very boring here so I use domestic and add smaller denomination stamps to make up the difference. Some of the envelops I’ve prepped have 6 stamps on them, ha! Canada hasn’t changed the design for a long time so the smaller stamps are all bugs. I’ll have to remember not to use those for @storerboughtcreation if I ever send her any mail, she does not like bugs, not even cute ones!
