Oh good because for some reason I thought July was tea themed and found a really random literary reference and one not so random reference I want to use, but then realized it was Picnic!
All I can think of for Picnic is ants. Because Pilot’s bowl attracted ants. Not cool. I might just color giant, shiny ants for y’all with a red gingham background.

It’s strange how the mail can be super fast or snail slow at times. Some of my international June to the moon cards arrived before the ones in the US and I sent them all on the same day!

Happy mail has now been sent. 
But of course I forgot to put the address on one envelope. Doh. But now I know the postage so I’ll just buy and print it online and have Phil drop it off at the blue box if the postal worker doesn’t pick it up tomorrow.

I’m still averaging about a letter a day here but I’ve been writing to all my friends & family too.
Today I got this postcard from our cousin, it’s a sunspot so not the moon but still eerily close to being on theme.

I have been receiving and opening. Lifes been crazy here between my adult son in from CO, the twins heading into the final weeks of school, work, work around the house UGH. So its nice to tae a break and open

@photojenn sent this lovely die cut card I so love the simplisity and @Magpie sent this lovely card but even better the excitement of the message inside (us northerners get a little crazy when our week of heat arrives!) and look at all the stamps!!!
@bluebird sent this wonderful post card letter and look at the moon stickers!
the psychedelic coloring from @geekgirl and oddly the stickers smell like the old sticker stores from when I was a kid! Good memories not a bad smell lol and a wonderful Lion from @megwell and tons of stars to aid in my ever growing paper collection

I display all cards (on pieces of string below shelves) on the walls of my ‘binnenplaats’ (which is just a room downstairs), that is my home within our home and has my computer desk and a couch and coffee table, where I spend most of my time.
When I run out of room to display the cards, I will put them in a dedicated box.
I like to look at the cards and read them over and over again.
The extras I all put together in a tray that sits with my card making materials and I also rummage through them every now and then.
Happy times!

Ummmm…probably too much info., but I feel bad about not being active. I want to be but life is continuing to dump crap into my lap. We haven’t had a chance to catch our breath for about four years now; life keeps coming at us hard.
You know DH has cancer.
Most of you are probably aware that my family are toxic and I have chose to go NC with all of them. They chose to do the same to me, so I haven’t had contact with my brother or my parents in over 20 years.
I learned from a random google search last year that my dad died.
I get a call from my brother yesterday afternoon. My mother is dying. COPD, pnemunoia, and lung cancer.
Also found out that my dad died from brain cancer.
My parents are basically strangers to me so I don’t feel grief. I’m numb and that numbness just makes me not want to do anything. I have two pieces of mail I want to post on here and all the cards I’ve made to fill out and send.
I am hoping to get back on here at some point but right now I’m overwhelmed.
